So how would one describe a Vanguard?
“the foremost part of an advancing army or naval force.” Definition from Oxford Languages.
It initially looks like one would be better off surely avoiding being at the head of, or forefront of an idea to avoid risk. But where is the faith in that? Let’s not forget we can do all things through Christ Jesus.
So, we are not even required to do anything in our own power. So why would we not want to do more, bigger and greater things?
So what is the problem?
As Christians we are supposed to be proactive in our lives not simply reactive. Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
Sometimes the problem is the not actually the problem. It’s your reaction to it. If you react the way God wants you to that problem, it will not last long. Indeed with a more proactive lifestyle prayer wise, you may very well avoid the problem in the first place.
A prayer for you.
I pray Lord God that all who have a problem and want your help can receive that in exactly the way you want them to. I pray that in a way that only you can help Lord, be who you want to be in every way.
